INGREDIENTS:

5lbs. apples, sliced

1 tsp cinnamon

2 tbsp cornstarch

1/4 cup maple syrup
-
1/4 cup orange juice
-
1 tbsp orange zest
Topping:
-
8oz butter
-
12oz granola
-
1 cup brown sugar
-
1 cup flour
-
1 tsp cinnamon
Note: Try this recipe with 2 tbsp Rays Warm Apple Pie added to the apple mixture and 1 tbsp Rays Warm Apple Pie added to the topping
INSTRUCTIONS:

Preheat recteq® to 350°F.

Combine apples with cinnamon, cornstarch, maple syrup, orange juice, and zest in a large bowl.

For the topping, mix the softened butter, granola, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon, then mix well.

Lightly oil a 12" cast-iron skillet and add all of the apple mixture.

Add the topping in an even layer across the pan.
-
Cook for 45-60 minutes until the topping is lightly browned and the apples are soft.

Let rest for 25-30 minutes.
